Every pregnancy and birth is unique. Our Maternity Ward works alongside obstetricians, paediatricians and other healthcare professionals to ensure mothers and babies receive appropriate care based on their individual needs.

Comprehensive Maternity Care

Our Maternity Ward provides professional care and support throughout your hospital stay. Our experienced nursing and healthcare teams work closely with treating doctors and specialists to support mothers before, during and after delivery.

Our maternity services include:

  • Admission and preparation for delivery
  • Support during childbirth
  • Normal and caesarean deliveries
  • Postnatal care for mothers
  • Newborn care
  • Support and guidance for new parents
  • Collaboration with obstetricians and medical specialists

Our goal is to provide a comfortable and caring environment where mothers can focus on their wellbeing, recovery and those important first moments with their newborn.

Specialised NICU and NNICU Support

The health and wellbeing of newborn babies are an important part of the care provided at Eden Gardens Private Hospital.

Alongside our Maternity Ward, the hospital provides NICU/NNICU services for babies who require specialised medical care, monitoring or additional support after birth.

While many newborns can remain with their mothers following delivery, some babies may require closer observation and specialised neonatal care. Having access to dedicated neonatal support provides an important level of care for babies with additional medical needs.

Our maternity and neonatal teams work closely with appropriate doctors and specialists to provide professional and compassionate care for both mother and baby.
